What types of international payments can I send with wamo?

You can send secure SWIFT payments in EUR, GBP, and USD to countries outside the EEA and the UK.

How to send an international (SWIFT) payment

For European-based companies

SWIFT payments are fully automated. Simply go to your wamo dashboard, select "Send," and enter the recipient’s details, amount, and payment purpose. To check if your country is eligible, refer to the country list here.

For UK-based companies

UK-based companies must submit their payment request manually, and our support team will guide them through the process. Follow these steps:

1. Download the form

  1. Download and fill out the payment request form to provide all the details we need for secure payment processing.

  2. Submit the completed form and supporting documents to support@wamo.io

For Outbound EUR transfers:

2. For currency conversion payments only

  • We'll get in touch with you to confirm the final amount via email or support chat or you can reach out to us directly with the completed form and payment amount.

  • To send payments involving a currency conversion, we will ask for the final amount in the end-currency to send – you will need to send the equivalent amount in EUR, GBP, or USD using the rate we provide.

3. Process the payment

  • From your Home dashboard, go to Send and choose the sub-account for the transfer.

  • Enter the recipient’s details, amount, and confirm the payment.

  • We’ll handle the final payment to the recipient, including any currency conversion.

What fees apply to SWIFT payments?

SWIFT fees depend on your account plan. Check the pricing page for details. The fee must be sent manually with the transfer amount as it is not deducted automatically.
