Managing High-Value Transactions

Updated today

At wamo, we empower your business to think big. While our Physical Visa business debit cards and virtual cards come with a generous standard transaction limit of €50,000, we have designed a seamless way for you to process even larger payments with ease and security.

Scaling Your Purchasing Power

Whether you are securing major inventory, settling large utility bills, or making significant capital investments, you can exceed the standard €50,000 threshold by utilizing our instant virtual card generation.

Step-by-Step: Processing Payments Over €50,000

If your business needs to make a payment that exceeds the single-card limit, follow this simple orchestration:

  1. Utilize Your Primary Card: Complete the first portion of your payment (up to €50,000) using your existing wamo card.

  2. Generate a New Virtual Card: Within your wamo app, instantly create a new Virtual Visa business debit card.

  3. Complete the Balance: Use the newly generated card details to pay the remaining amount of your transaction.

  4. Repeat as Needed: For exceptionally large transactions, simply repeat the process. Each new virtual card provides an additional €50,000 in spending capacity.

High-Value Payment FAQ

Can I use this method for any business expense? Absolutely. This flexibility is designed for all professional requirements, including large-scale procurement, tax obligations, hardware investments, and high-volume utility bills.

Is there a limit to how many cards I can create? The number of available Virtual Visa business debit cards is determined by your specific wamo plan (Grow, Scale, etc.). To review your current capacity or upgrade for more cards, please visit our Pricing Page.

Do I need to call support to "unlock" higher limits? No. This capability is a standard feature for all wamo cardholders. You have the autonomy to manage these high-value transactions directly through your dashboard without any prior authorization required.

Are there extra fees for "splitting" payments this way? Creating virtual cards is included in your monthly membership. As long as you are within your plan’s card allotment (for example, the Scale plan includes 100 free virtual cards), there are no additional charges for using this method.
