wamo does not onboard customers connected to the countries listed below, and does not process transactions to or from them. This applies regardless of the reason a country is on the list.
This is a blanket restriction. It means we cannot:
open an account for a business registered in one of these countries
onboard a business whose directors or shareholders are nationals or residents of one of these countries
process payments to or from these countries, including from existing wamo accounts

Some countries appear here because of international sanctions; others reflect risk decisions made by wamo and our banking partners. The restriction applies in the same way in every case.
