Every wamo account gets a unique AP inbox email address — for example yourcompany@ap.wamo.io. Forward an invoice to it and the AP Trust Agent reads it, extracts the details and creates a coded Draft automatically, with no manual entry.
Where to find your AP inbox address
Your address is shown in two places in Payables:
Settings > Import
Add new bill > Forward an email
Use Copy to grab it. The address is fixed and cannot be changed.
Two ways to get invoices into the inbox
Share the address with your vendors as your billing contact, so their invoices arrive in Payables directly.
Add an auto-forward rule in your own mailbox, so invoices that land with you are passed on the minute they arrive.
How to forward invoices
Attach the invoice to the email. Invoices written in the body of an email are not read — the invoice must be an attachment.
Use PDF, PNG or JPG, up to 20 MB per file. Other formats are not supported.
Forward from a company address or a known vendor domain. This helps the agent trust the source and keeps unwanted mail out of your drafts.
Several invoices in one email are split into separate drafts automatically.
What happens after you forward
The agent reads each invoice, extracts the vendor, dates, amounts and line items, and creates a coded Draft ready for review. If it cannot match an existing vendor, it creates a vendor draft to link to the bill. From there the bill follows your normal review and approval flow — see [Link: How do I review and edit a bill before submitting it?].
Frequently asked questions
Can I change my AP inbox address? No. Each account's AP inbox address is fixed.
The invoice is in the body of the email. Will it be read? No. Save or export the invoice as a PDF, PNG or JPG and attach it.
I forwarded an invoice but it didn’t appear in Drafts. Check that the invoice is attached (not pasted into the email) and that it is a PDF, PNG or JPG under 20 MB, then send it again. If it still doesn’t appear, contact us through the in-app chat with the date and sender of the email.
