Open any bill from the list to inspect its extracted details next to the original document. Reviewing before you submit is how you make sure the agent captured everything correctly — and it keeps your records, vendor analytics and audit trail accurate before any money moves.
Check the Overview tab
Beside the invoice preview, confirm that each extracted value matches the document:
Vendor name and details
Invoice number
Issue date and due date
Subtotal and total
Line items
When the extracted values match the source, submit the bill. Submitting sends it into your approval flow; whether it then approves automatically or waits for an approver depends on your policies — see [Link: How do I build approval policies?].
Edit the extracted details
Select Click to edit in the top right to open the editor. There you can:
Correct the invoice number and description.
Change existing line items and the totals.
Use Add line item when the invoice contains more detail than was captured.
Select Save when you are done. Editing is done by an Admin or AP clerk — see [Link: Payables roles and permissions: who can do what].
Correct the draft before you submit it. These values feed your vendor spend figures, your open balances and your audit trail.
Check the Trust & Compliance tab
Before you submit, glance at the Trust & Compliance tab. It shows the agent's confidence in what it read and the result of each automated check. If a check has raised a warning, the bill is held as Missing info until it is resolved — see [Link: Trust & Compliance: how wamo checks every bill].
Check the History tab
The History tab shows when the bill was created, every status change and every later edit. It gives reviewers and approvers full context before they act, and it forms part of the audit trail.
Frequently asked questions
What should I check first? The total, the due date and the vendor. These three decide who approves the bill, when it needs paying, and where the money goes.
An approver rejected my bill. What now? Open the bill, check the History tab, and speak to the approver about what needs to change. If you need help, contact us through the in-app chat.
I no longer need to pay a bill. Cancel it. A cancelled bill moves to Cancelled and will not be paid.
